Repeat Pattern
Over half term I was given a design brief to explore the idea of repeat patterns, how they are created and how can I put this into my work. I found out that for repeat patterns, you have to think of one image individually with no intention of it being ripped in half. Once this is done the best thing to do is cut the page in half then stick back together in a swapped positions. Then do this again but length ways. This then splits the main image into four parts spreading around the whole page. As this is round the page it links the pattern together which you can build upon. Another way of this is that you can fill the blank space up with more designs making the piece more interesting.
