On Monday I had finally finished my calico sample skirt so that I can make the skirt again with the fabric want originally designed to use. The skirt starts short and the front and goes long at the back. This is to show of the pleats in the inside of the skirt. In this photo you can`t really see where the darts form but as the model walks the knife darts become more visible. The fabrics I have picture is a jacquard royal blue fabric for the top layer and for the darts which are separate I have picked a type of cotton. I will post my final piece when I finish it over Christmas!
